Take a listen to LIT UP, a new nu-metal band feat. Adam and CJ from Hand of Mercy

For those of you counting down the days to see the Exclusive Reunion for Hand of Mercy at UNIFY Gathering 2019, you might want to draw your attention to this new band that just appeared out of nowhere first. LIT UP is Australia's latest nu-metal band featuring former HoM guitarist Adam Mclean and drummer Cullum Jensen (CJ) Mackinnon and their style is akin to that of Deez Nuts.
Joining the guys is bassist Kristian Pryor (ex-Past Is Practice) and Nathan Murdoch on guitar with Adam taking the frontman role this time around the guys have just released their first song 'TRIGGERED' which is full of riffs, raps and BEAUTIFUL SCENERY OF SYDNEY'S DARLING HARBOUR. No seriously, I usually hate Sydney but I kinda wanna go hang out where they filmed this.
We grabbed CJ for a chinwag to find out how the band started and why they chose to head down the nu-metal direction, to which he replied:
"Adam has pretty much wanted to be in a full on Nu-Metal band ever since he was a kid, he's even got a Limp Bizkit tattoo to show for it. After riffing some ideas he eventually came to me to start piecing everything together with the idea to eventually release an EP. We ended up booking in with Troy Brady (Ex Amity Affliction) to record a full fledged EP, of which 'TRIGGERED' is the first single. We recently played our first show alongside Bare Bones, but expect to see us ripping up stages around Australia soon!"
Fuck yeah, any friend of the Bones is a friend of ours. In the meantime check out the new track below, grab your new era cap out of retirement and bounce along to this.
