Bring Me The Horizon unveil New Album ‘amo’ + Australian East Coast Tour

It’s been a huge day for Bring Me The Horizon fans, not only did they release their new singleMANTRA‘, but they’ve just announced their new, sixth studio album is called amo and will be released on January 25th via Sony Music Australia. The new album was once again produced by frontman Oli Sykes and fellow member Jordan Fish who also took the producing reigns on the band’s last album That’s The Spirit which debuted at #1 on the Aria Charts and reached Platinum Sales in Australia.

Sykes also revealed the new release will be different to what they’ve done in the past and it’s theme focuses on, love:

amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.”

Fans of young and old have welcomed the cult new song with open arms (minus a few stuck in the “Sandpit Turtle” era) and we personally can’t wait to see what else the guys have to offer with this new release. The good news on top of that is some of us won’t be waiting much longer to see them in the flesh too with an Australian First Love East Coast Tour being announced for April 2019 with some huge venues locked in. It should also be mentioned fans who Pre-Order the new album via JB HiFi by September 3rd will receive Exclusive Priority Ticket Access to the band’s upcoming shows.

The last time BMTH visited Australia in 2016 (our Brisbane coverage here) Oli was stuck down with a sickness which resulted in the rescheduling of a few shows, so hopefully, this time around he’s fit and ready to come back and show us what he and the rest of the band have been working on.

Live Nation Pre-Sale is from 1pm Thursday September 6
