Upcoming pop punk heroes Woes have started to make waves since the release of their EP Self Help back in May and it’s no surprise too, they have a great sound behind them and (like all great pop punk bands) a message and purpose behind their lyrics, this time it’s changing useless aspects of your personality in the song ‘Over It‘ as frontman DJ explains:
“It’s about identifying negative traits or aspects of your personality, that don’t benefit you in any way, and getting rid of them. For me, I spent a lot of my youth not doing things because I was afraid I would fail at them, and a lot of the lyrics focus around that, and how I’ve tried to push those feelings out of my life the last few years.”
The band are set to embark on a UK tour with State Champs, Seaway and Stand Atlantic. Considering State Champs are yet to bring their new album Living Proof down under, surely they could bring this show for eager fans? Stay tuned to see.
