Big Sound 2018 is shaping up to be pretty BIG… again

Ahhh Big Sound. The Australian music industry’s answer to SXSW in Brisbane where bands come to showcase why they’re going to be the next big thing and where industry people come to mingle, drink, forget names, fight 3 day long hangovers and have a bloody good time in the process.

In the past we’ve discovered bands like WAAX, High Tension, Introvert, A Breach of Silence, Pagan, Polaris, Drown This City, Belle Haven and Scalphunter at the annual showcase event and even featured a 2 Hour Long podcast detailing which bands you need to jump from the 2017 Festival. Well the 2018 lineup is shaping up to be bigger (if not better) then previous years with the likes of Bare Bones, Eat Your Heart Out, Stateside, Arteries, Gravemind, Between You & Me, Butterfingers, Cast Down, Walken, Wildheart, Thornhill, The Comfort, The Beautiful Monument, Slowly Slowly and heaps more (over 150 acts to be precise, full lineup here) all set to invade Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley from September 4-7 and the best part is, you’re invited to the party.

Tickets are up for grabs with plenty of passes to make sure you’ll be all gigged up for the week, check out the Big Sound website for more information. See you there!
