What’s one thing you want from a Machine Head show? Heavy fucking Metal? Brutal Moshpits. Memories that go back a lifetime? How about all of the aforementioned things + a whopping 3 hour set? That’s exactly what you’re doing to get on this Australian Tour which sees the band playing tracks from their new album Catharsis and the extensive back catalogue. The boys were in fine form last night as they hit the stage in Brisbane with fans throwing their bodies across the room almost immediately as frontman Rob Flynn worked the crowd in all his bearded glory.
A set NOT to be missed by any fan, despite the fact their new album had some mixed reviews (our review here), their live show consisting of a blistering 24 songs (including 3 encores and 2 solos) well and truly made up for it. If you haven’t seen the band since 2015 or longer, now is the time to change that.
