A Breach of Silence tackle The Weeknd's 'Shameless'

Cover songs can be pretty hit and miss at times. Some end up being better than, or on par with the original and some should never have been covered in the first place (I'm looking at you Weezer), but every now and then, one comes by which fits just right and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with Brisbane metal act A Breach of Silence and their bold cover of The Weeeknd's 'Shameless'.

Bassist Blair Layt says of the song:

We wanted to do something off the cuff and really different for the Secrets album, so Shameless was an easy choice for us... Most of us in the band follow The Weeknd and we’re huge fans of his music”

Well, their rendition certainly paid off better than the last Brisbane band who attempted to cover one of his songs... Big ups boys!
