UPDATE: For those with tickets to the March 18th and 19th Woolly Mammoth shows, there is now a venue chance to The Tivoli and both tickets will be valid for tonight's performance. There'll also be an extra 500 tickets up for grabs if you missed out.

For those who can't make it details will be released soon for where to claim your refund.

Initial reports of the venue not hosting gigs anymore have been thrown out as the Woolly Mammoth venue stated on their Facebook page:

"...we've already addressed the issues as of this morning, and will be fully operational for all future gigs."

Hockey Dad - Blend Inn Tour
with Dear Seattle and Boat Show

19th March @ The Tivoli (New Venue)

Hockey Dad and Dear Seattle have been making their way across the county performing sold out shows for fans on the Blend Inn Tour. The bands (alongside Boat Show too) were getting through a day show in Brisbane at the Woolly Mammoth venue in Fortitude Valley when a call was made to cancel the show after the floor gave way when the main support beam broke as punters were jumping around on the first level.

An insider told us:

"They stopped mid-show. The floor didn't fall, but the main support beam broke while people were inside. No one was harmed, however there won't be any more shows at the venue."

Hockey Dad first alerted their fans on Facebook about the cancellation and plans to move the show (possibly at this stage to The Tivoli) so they can get through the remaining two nights of sold out shows for fans. Check out the extent of the situation in a video posted by Travis Hall in the comments section of Hockey Dad's Facebook statement below.

Our insider also spoke very highly of the band/s working together to make something happen so Brisbane don't miss out:

"The bands are really awesome, they just want to give punters the show they paid for. 10/10 best attitude ever"

An official statement is set to be released today about the events and rescheduled shows. We'll keep you posted once they become available... until then, "fuck being sad!"
