Tributes are flowing in this morning for BABYMETAL guitarist Mikio Fujioka who tragically died at the age of 36 following injuries sustained from a fall. The member known to fans as Ko-Gami (aka "The Little God") fell off an observation deck on December 30th and was rushed to hospital, however he was unable to recover from his injuries and passed away on January 5th with his wife and two daughters by his side.

Mikio joined BABYMETAL back in 2013 as part of their Kami Band, travelling the world playing with bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N 'Roses as well as picking up appreciation along the way from Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Judas Priest and countless others.

Our thoughts go out to the band, Mikio's family, friends and fans at this difficult time.
