We’ve woken up to an early Christmas Miracle and thought we’d pass on the news to you, our podcast series Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall has officially been added to Spotify! As of a few hours ago you can now Download/Stream/Favourite (and we hope, Share) the weekly series which has already featured some of the biggest named co-hosts in the industry, including Corey Taylor (Stone Sour/Slipknot), Max Cavalera, Rex Brown, Marky Ramone, Jenna McDougall (Tonight Alive), Sebastian Bach, Paolo Gregoletto (Trivium), Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth) and so many more.
Since launching at the end of June, we’ve received over 7,500 streams to date, a total podcast host Paul ‘Browny’ Brown could only dream about:
“When I first launched the series, I had a small idea of what I wanted to do with it and how I wanted it to play out. Over time it has blown up bigger than expected and to be honest, by this point I only predicted maybe a couple hundred streams (if that). To see the traction and popularity it’s been gaining and now the addition to Spotify in such a short amount of time, I’m completely gobsmacked.”
The first outing has just wrapped up for 2017 with ‘A Very Heavy Christmas Special‘ acting as the final episode of the year (details here), but the podcast will return in a couple of weeks and the guests are already starting to line up for series two:
“So far I’ve got co-hosts on the way with Once Human, Of Mice & Men, We The Kings and Papa Roach” adds Browny “but there’s also a couple Music Festival Special Episodes in the works and something for the former emo kids too… plus I’m working out a way to incorporate listeners next year, so if you’d like to be part of the podcast series, stay tuned”
and now SPOTIFY!
