The incredibly talented Mike Portnoy brought his Shattered Fortress Tour to Perth’s Astor Theatre with the boys from Haken and Eric Gillette of The Neal Morse Band playing alongside him to perfect the old memories Dream Theater fans remember him for. The band blasted on to the stage with energy and power, and immediately got the crowd pumped. The whole band took the crowd by surprise with their flawless ability to play the complex Dream Theater songs. Fucking awesome is the only word which we can use to best sum up the evening.
