Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall Episode #18 feat. Lizi Blanco of The Beautiful Monument is OUT NOW

We were thinking it’s about time we dedicate Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall to the women in heavy music who have been working away to make a living for themselves in the business and what better way to do that then with Lizi Blanco of The Beautiful Monument co-hosting Episode 18. Lizi and the girls have been touring with Tonight Alive across the east coast of Australia and first caught our eyes and ears when we reviewed Big Sound back in September. The girls also briefly appeared on our ‘Best of Big Sound 2017podcast following the event but we didn’t get to go in depth with them to talk about their genre crossing album I’m The Sin which was released back in February and goddamn we’re pissed we missed it.

Podcast host Browny gives listeners a closer look at The Beautiful Monument and proves they’re not just an exceptionally driven upcoming band, but they’re also capable of writing hard hitting and thought provocative songs about touchy subjects like child slavery/neglect, drug & alcohol abuse and so much more across a wide range of intriguing styles that have to be heard to be explained.

We also pay tribute to the late Chrissy Amphlett of Divinyls fame, play new music from Butcher Babies, PVRIS and Once Human plus take a look at why Drown This City have pulled the plug on touring for the rest of 2017.
