cKy released ‘Head for a Breakdown’ video
Groove metal rockers cKy have had a pretty decent relaunching year with the release of their new album The Phoenix back in June (our review here) and so far they’ve had nothing but rave reviews for their efforts. Well they’ve just put out the video for the song ‘Head for a Breakdown‘ which features the band roaming about London performing shows and being menaces at the front of Buckingham Palace.
The band revealed:
“We were lucky enough to get a day off to explore one of the best cities on earth with our friends… We decided to crash the Queen’s Garden Party and film our video in front of the gates of Buckingham Palace.”
Drummer Jess Margera co-hosted Episode #4 of our Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall podcast in July and gave us an insight to the band’s new direction after emerging from the ashes, how they recorded their new album and what the future holds for the former skate punk band.
The band were supposed to come to Australia for the nostalgia filled Sing It Loud Festival alongside Weezer, Alien Ant Farm and Hoobastank but since that folded we’re still holding out for a tour.. maybe Download Fest Australia will pick them up?
