ex-letlive frontman Jason Aalon Butler teams up with The Bloody Beetroots

My feelings towards The Bloody Beetroots have been mixed over the years, firstly, how good was warp when it first came out? Back in my EDM loving days (I know shame me later) that song was on repeat for a while and when they collaborated with Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe fame, it kinda/sorta proved two genres could work together.

But then it all went to shit and I stopped listening to them…

Recently however they’ve teamed up with Australia’s very own Jet for a track which managed to get them some mainstream radio success, but didn’t really hit the mark in my opinion

However, they’ve just released a collaboration with ex-letlive frontman Jason Aalon Butler (now of The Fever fame) and to be honest with you, this song actually sounds decent. The song is called ‘Crash‘ and is from the duo’s upcoming album The Great Electronic Swindle out October 20th. Featuring a nod to Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Immigrant Song‘ throughout (which is probably why it’s so good), it goes to show just how talented Jason is when he puts his voice to something, it just works.

Could rock and EDM be making a comeback together with a touch of hardcore screaming vocals to please two sets of music fans? Time will tell, until then, enjoy the below offering from one of the most interesting collaborations of 2017.
