Every now and then a battle of epic proportions begins and is fought until only one competitor stands victorious (unless you count Batfleck vs Superman), but this is better than that pile of shit. Two Bands. Two Albums. Same Release Date. That’s the case for Scott Eckel of MAKEOUT and Mitch Chamberlain of Satellites who both release their new music on Friday, in what would have to be one of the most hilariously, unintentional clashed of all time. Both blokes are good mates (who have played in bands together) but both of their bands’ genres are on completely different ends of the musical spectrum, however thats not going to stop us from crowing the Ultimate Pop Punk Hero in Episode #12 of Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall.
Join podcast host Browny as he discusses Satellites‘ new Black Dog EP (our review here) and the struggles the band have been faced with over the past few years while trying to get this music out for fans. Then stick around for an insight to MAKEOUT‘s recording of their debut album The Good Life (our review here) in a comprehensive, full podcast co-host from the two legends. They also contribute to our ‘Ultimate Pop Punk Song’ (first conceived by New Found Glory‘s Jordan Pundik), showcase new music from both of their upcoming releases and so much more.
Plus there’s New Music from Bukowski, PVRIS, Neck Deep and Duane Hazel‘s (ex-Heroes For Hire) new band Common Life.
