Christmas just came early for Iron Maiden fans

Thirty-nine countries, six continents, two years and countless frequent flyer miles for Bruce Dickinson. The boys in Iron Maiden weren’t only working their asses entertaining over two million metalheads night after night they recorded the whole thing as well!

So here we have it, out on November 17th The Book of Souls: Live Chapter. Based on the current setlist this album is touted as being a faithful record of the epic show. It includes six songs off The Book of Souls album along with a swag of classics and fan favourites.

Bass player and Iron Maiden’s driving force Steve Harris comments:

We spent a huge amount of time working on this as I wanted to get it as close to the Maiden live experience as I possibly could and to represent our fans from different parts of the world. This meant listening to literally hours upon hours of tapes from every show, to select material and construct a sound that would run consistently across the whole album and capture the excitement of a new country like El Salvador alongside such regular favourites as Donington or Wacken.

On top of that, there will be a one-off free live streaming premiere of the concert film, a little thank you to the fans from around the world who came out and witnessed the Book of Souls World Tour.

The album will replicate The Book Of Souls original formats and be issued as a limited edition deluxe 2 CD hardcase Book, a regular 2CD album, a triple black vinyl LP, and a digital download in high-resolution audio. A digital download of the concert film will also be available to purchase following its free online premiere.
