Northlane release ‘Colourwave’ video + Announce local tour supports
The aussie act who show no signs of stopping have done just that and released a new music video for the track ‘Colourwave‘ from their #1 surprise album Mesmer. On top of all the fun, Northlane have also announced the local bands who have scored an opening slot on their upcoming Mesma World Tour Australian leg which includes the likes of I, Icarus, Deadlights, Thornhill, Easy Life and Once Almost Never, who will all open their respected local shows alongside Erra and Sworn In.
Back to the new video, Josh Smith of the band revealed it’s one they did for the fans:
“Colourwave has been one of the fan favourite tracks on Mesmer so we felt compelled to shoot a video for it. Our main goal here was to create the most visually stunning clip to date. While the crazy UV paint scenes were the centerpiece here, it had to also tie into the lyrics thematically at the same time. The song is about suffering through mental illness and realising that the negative glass through which you see the world is within your own mind.”
