Think you’re a Master Shedder? Get amongst this at Crowbar in Brisbane
You know the guys you meet at parties who claim they can rip on a guitar better than Kirk Hammett of Metallica or even Herman Li of Dragonforce? Well this is their chance to prove it with So You Think You Can Shred? #2 at Crowbar in Brisbane.
The annual riff-fest kicks off again in October and the call out is on for Master Shredders to apply yo be part of the event for the chance to score themselves a wicked prize consisting of $250 cash, a Private Party Keg, Bach Guitar Services set up, a Brand New LTD ESP Guitar from Music 440 and ESP Guitars and the title of Shred Master 2017.
“You’ll face defeat over 4 weeks of heats, a semi final and all importantly, the final. So stretch those fingers, make love to your fret boards and prepare yourselves for the WALL OF CABS. Each player gets a sweet amount of time for artistic integrity, but selfish shredders will be booed by the sound board. There will be guest judges and you will be scored out of 10 and only one finalist per heat will go through to the SEMI FINALS NIGHT.” – Crowbar’s Denis Hogan explains

Heat 3 – Wednesday 18th October
Heat 4 – Wednesday 25th October
Semi Final – Wednesday 1st November
Final – Thursday 16th November
Must be 18+ to enter
