It’s time to Rise again
Following the release of their latest album WOLVES (our review here) political, punk rockers Rise Against are set to embark on a maiden journey down under again to showcase their latest album for us in early 2018.
A Rise Against show is an enthralling experience for all if you’ve never been, as frontman Tim McIlrath explains:
“In many ways, a Rise Against show is a safe space for our fans, But I realised … I want to create dangerous spaces where misogyny can’t exist, where xenophobia can’t exist. I want to create spaces where those sentiments don’t have any air, and they suffocate: where those ideas die. Wolves isn’t about creating a safe space, it’s about creating a space that’s dangerous for injustice.”
Joining the guys will be SWMRS, who released their latest album album Drive North back in 2016 via Fueled By Ramen. The Oakland, CA rockers will head down under on their very first visit to our shores.
