Calling ALL Under Age Bands in Brisbane/SE Queensland; Club Greenslopes wants YOU!

Gone are the days of starting a band in High School and playing Under 18 venues across the state, with the demise of All Ages shows in recent years, it seems the only place to get a big break outside of your garage is at your mate’s birthday party. Well the legends at Club Greenslopes want to change that and have opened up their doors for Under Age bands and musicians to perform in front of an audience and their friends at their venue and have the chance to score some prizes in the process.

The club is hosting a Saturday Matinee on July 22nd and have put the call out for those in Brisbane and the South East Queensland region (or beyond) to get in touch and compete for the chance to win a $1000 Recording Package from Taramalin Sound to take that next step with their musical endeavours and on top of that, the bands invited along will receive discounts from Red Octopus once they’re ready to create their own merch + more to be announced.

Event organiser Ross Thurlow revealed:

“We’re opening it up for any genre of music and giving under age artists the chance to play a live show in front of their friends, family and potential new fans”.
