Hacktivist reveal New Singer and Song

Shortly after their tour with Enter Shikari back in September last year, Hacktivist parted ways with original singer Ben Marvin due to family commitments that needed his attention. Everything went quiet and the band were left in limbo as they searched for his replacement. Well, today we've finally seen a spark reignited in the band and things are looking gooood.

Jot Maxi has now taken the role of frontman for the rap/rock/category dodging UK band and will immediately hit center stage at Download Festival this year alongside his new band mates. Also the band have released a new song called '2 Rotten' so fans can pick up where the band left them earlier this year.

According to guitarist Timfy James, Maxi has been the breath of fresh air they were looking for:

"Jot has brought many different new qualities to the mix – new and exciting flows, song concepts and general craziness. He fits in well, almost like he's always been there. What does the future hold? Expect filth and fire coming your way.”

'2 Rotten' is out now via digital download
