Josh Scogin’s ’68 unveil New Album + Australian Shows
The Josh Scogin/Michael McCellen duo act ’68 have been working tirelessly on a new album following their appearance in Australia last year supporting Bring Me The Horizon and today they’ve finally announced it will be released on June 2nd.
To celebrate the new album Two Parts Viper‘s release to the the boys will also make their return to Australia for a sling of shows (minus Perth) and have released a new track ready for your listening pleasure. If you love your grunge, experimental rock, this is right up your alley.
Josh Scogin (formerly of Norma Jean and The Chariot) spoke about the song titled ‘This Life Is Old, New, Borrowed and Blue‘ revealing:
“This is the very first song I wrote for the album. It definitely ‘connects’ more with my past than any of the other songs, so much so, that it almost didn’t make it into the album. It is one of my favorite jams but I had decided that if the other 9 songs didn’t balance it out a bit was going to leave it behind. I’m really glad I didn’t have to.“
Pre-Order the new album here and you’ll receive ‘This Life…‘ and another song called ‘The Workers Are A Few‘ instantly. Tickets for their upcoming tour go On-Sale Friday May 5th via Destroy All Lines.
