Just when you thought we were done with the surprise releases following Northlane's epic release of Mesmer, another Australian act have just put out their first album in 10 years! Mindsnare's latest offering Unholy Rush is the band's first release since 2007's Disturb the Hive and according to fans, it hasn't come soon enough.

The guys spoke about why it took so long for them to follow up and according to them, it was just a case of life getting in the way:

"It was never a plan to leave it so long, it just kind of panned out that way…. Lots of shit going on for everyone with work, kids, life, broken people…. Blah blah blah, all good though it’s here now and I can’t wait to hit the road with it!"

And thats exactly what the band plan to do with a short but sweet East Coast tour on the way next month. You can get a copy of the new album here
