The Butterfly Effect re-enter the ARIA Charts – A Decade Later \m/

The Butterfly Effect, one of Australia’s most beloved alternative rock bands, have re-entered the ARIA Album Charts this week, with the re-invigoration of their catalog through the sale of the records on vinyl for the first time through Collision Course.

2016 marks 10 years since their iconic sophomore record Imago was released and was in the Top 50 ARIA album chart for the first time, and 14 years for Begins Here. All three records are certified ARIA Gold records.

The iconic Brisbane artists have had their albums Begins Here, Imago and Final Conversation of Kings respectively re-enter the ARIA album charts at #47, #49 and #56 and all three albums in the top 20 Australian Album sales of the week at #15, #16 and #19.

The band also saw the three records drop into the AIR Independent Australian album charts in the top ten at #2, # and #5!

The band officially announced their split in August and announced the double-gatefold vinyl editions as their parting gift to their fan base, as well as a collection of digital rarities, singles and demos. The collections are now available online and in all good digital and retail stores.
