So. Many. Tour. Anouncements. Here’s what you may have missed!
Anyone who said Australia is suffering from a Live Music drought will obviously be eating their words right about now with so many great tours getting announced in the past 24 hours. You might now have caught them all so we’re doing our best to keep you up to date with what and who is on their way around the country.
Visionary musician, Steven Wilson, who has changed the direction of rock music is set to tour Australia and New Zealand in October 2016. In 2013 Steven toured Australia with one of the most elaborate productions witnessed in rock venues. Those lucky music fans who attended the shows were immersed in an audio-visual sensory experience simultaneously overwhelming and uplifting.
This October, Steven brings “Hand. Cannot. Erase.” to antipodean audiences with a show which will both exhilarate and take your breath away.
The former Porcupine Tree leader has built a reputation as a musician’s musician with a track record venerated by fans and peers alike. As well as four solo studio albums and in excess of 20 Porcupine Tree albums, Steven has collaborated with a who’s who of forward thinking musicians, including Opeth, Robert Fripp, Yoko Ono, Anathema, Ian Anderson, Steve Hackett, Marillion, OSI and Dream Theater.

Few bands channel the true spirit of Metal; Dangerous, Rebellious, Confronting, Unrelenting. Destroyer 666 not only embody this spirit, they live, breath and bleed it.
This November will see them return home to their leaders birthplace to spread Wildfire. Destroyer 666 have no need to prove anything. Unleashing five studio albums in their 20 plus year career they have cemented their reputation within the metal community and their latest missive, the recently released, Wildfire (2016 Season Of Mist) is another fist straight to your face.
They are the pure essence of heavy fucking metal.
No compromise, no quarter, prepare yourself!

A Night In Texas – The Rotten King Australian Tour
with special guests Iconoclast & To The Grave
Recently returning from their first European tour with ‘Aversions Crown’ & ‘Rings Of Saturn’ Queensland’s own ‘A NIGHT IN TEXAS’ will be crushing across Australia in light of their newly released single ‘THE ROTTEN KING’. With a solid combination of pulverising breakdowns, blast beats and technical riffing this blackened deathcore act is not something you want to miss.
Having recently released their debut Album ‘HalluciNation’, Perth’s heavy hitters ‘ICONOCLAST’ will be spreading pure heaviness, grove and politically charged hatred across Australia’s east coast. On the back end of supporting ‘DISENTOMB’ on their recent national Australian tour ‘ICONOCLAST’ are solidifying their position as a rising metal act to keep your eyes on.
If you thought this tour package couldn’t get any heavier you were wrong. We’d like to welcome Sydney’s deathcore lords ‘TO THE GRAVE’ to bill. “TO THE GRAVE’ have slowly but surely been building their dominance across Australia through endless weekender tour trips and significant local support slots.

ROLL THE DICE TOUR
Melbourne’s thriving alternative scene in the late 90’s produced a swag of new bands and talent two bands that emerged from that scene and have stood the test of time are 28 Days and AREA-7. Both bands have played every major festival in the country, toured extensively, were the mainstay of the Vans Warped Tours and even toured war zones, playing to Australia’s Defence Forces in Afghanistan and East Timor.
With the end of Big Day Out and Soundwave and the unlikely return of Warped, the boys have decided to team up and “Roll the Dice” taking their music to the punters – it’s time to rip shit up!
Tickets Available via Venues.
