Not a nightclub, not a gig, just a mothertruckin’ party. Incursion is a bi-annual Minifest meets Nightclub with one simple aim, to make you party. Borne out of the most isolated city in the world, since 2013 Incursion has grown to become the premier alternative party in Australia. Blending a unique event with the best live acts in heavy music from around Australia plus the finest local and international alternative DJ’s deliver a peerless dancefloor for the darker, alternative scene.
What can you expect at Incursion? Party vibe themed nights with awesome music you will hear nowhere else. Interstate and international guests mingle with sideshow performers including cage dancers, fire twirlers and sword swallowers. Incursion parties ARE different. Expect to hear a diverse range of music including 90’s/00’s Alternative – Industrial – Metal – Punk – Dark Electro – JJJ Classics & Goth.
In 2016, Incursion returns with a bang! Following the success of Daniel Graves (Aesthetic Perfection) recent Halloween DJ tour, Incursion is proud to bring another international heavyweight from the alternative scene down under. Joe Letz, drummer for electro-industrial band Combichrist and an accomplished DJ in his own right tours Australia for the first time this April and May.
Playing dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
Our first party of 2016 sees us host our third instalment of our annual Masquerade. And, it’s our first ever party in Sydney! These aren’t your average masquerades however… with Joe Letz of Combichrist and the Icons of Powergroove in Perth, prepare for THE BLACK MASQUERADE.

With two levels of entertainment to muse over, punters will kick on until the wee hours of the morning. Expect to be stomping the night away in ‘The Basement’ where you’ll hear Joe Letz alongside Perth’s finest Alternative DJ’s spinning the latest and greatest in Alternative, Industrial, EBM, Metal, 80’s & JJJ classic tunes.
In the tradition of The Black Masquerade, in ‘The Catacomb’ you’ll be treated to the Icons of Powergroove. We’ve rounded up the best in town and you’ll see sets delivered by Rubble of Empire performing Rage Against The Machine, Cold Fate shredding PanterA and One of None bringing the technical beats of Fear Factory. The room’s tight, so get to the front and stay there. Ready to break your neck?
