Get pumped pop punkers! Legendary Swedish punks MILLENCOLIN touch down on our shores in just two weeks to commence their anticipated ‘True Brew’ tour, and they’ve just announced a slew of sick local supports to get the parties started.
Having previously announced that Adelaide’s jump-start gritty rock’n’roll rulers GRENADIERS will be joining them as main support on their national jaunt, Millencolin have also booked in some of Australian punk’s most riotous local acts. Sydney have hit the jackpot with longtime good fun Newcastle punks Local Resident Failure taking the stage. Adelaide will get hard working folky punkers The Hard Aches. Brisbane locals, Pee Records hardcore punkers Driven Fear will open at The Tivoli, whilst Melbourne will get a load of 90’s style skate punk stalwarts Bombs are Falling and Postscript respectively. Wonder at the full list of line-ups below.
We don’t need to remind you that Millencolin are truly one of the best loved and most enduring names in modern punk rock. On this tour they’ll be mining their extensive (and let’s face it, wall-to-wall awesome) back catalogue for dedicated Australian audiences, as well as dipping into their very well received new LP True Brew.
With Coolangatta and one Melbourne date SOLD OUT and a slew of other shows selling fast, best hop to it to secure a night of beers aloft and epic sing alongs. All shows on sale now via tickets.destroyalllines.com
