COLIBRIUM DROP VIDEO FOR “SPINNING ON THE WHEEL” SINGLE
Colibrium are not spinning the wheels here. Though their single is titled “Spinning on the Wheel”, they are firing on all cylinders in the lead up to the release of their album, In Balance. The album drops on Friday March 11, but the filmclip for huge rock single “Spinning on the Wheel” premiered yesterday. The Single was added to rotation on triple j unearthed last Friday and the boys are gearing up for the album drop and subsequent tour in March and April.
Shot in Adelaide’s busy CBD, the clip for ‘Spinning on the Wheel’ represents the urban “blender” and cultural saturation common in today’s society. Adelaide filmclip and video maestro Aaron Schuppan shot, edited and produced the slick clip.
2015 saw Colibrium doing support shows for Canadians Thousand Foot Krutch, Brisbane crew Like Thieves, Melbourne’s Jericco and a near-sold-out launch show of their own in Adelaide meant that they were one of the most in-demand acts in town. They are taking the stage in Brisbane, Melbourne, Bendigo and hometown Adelaide to celebrate the release.
The South Australian 5-piece have spent the last three years collaborating with the best of the best on what has become In Balance. Produced by Reid Jones, Mixed by Reid Jones/Forrester Savell and Mastered by Forrester Savell, the band sought out this Voltron of Rock engineers to give life to In Balance.
