25th Anniversary shows for Spiderbait – don’t miss the boat!
It’s hard to believe and it will make you feel a tad old, but Spiderbait, the three piece band out of New South Wales are celebraring their 25th anniversary and to mark the feat have a run of dates across the nation kicking off February 12 in Fremantle. Supporting them on the road will be 2015 J Award Unearthed Artist of the Year winners Tired Lion!
From festival spots to ARIA #1’s to a coveted spot as #1 song of the year for ‘Buy Me a Pony’ on 1996’s Triple J Hottest 100, Spiderbait were the darling’s of alternative punk rock back in the ’90s and fans haven’t forgotten the band having already sold out several shows from the upcoming tour. The band’s 2013 self-titled album, it’s first in nine years was a reminder to the world that the band are still ready to rock and boy, how we missed those patent Spiderbait feels!
