Wall of Sound presents “2015 YEAR IN REVIEW” – by Cancer Bats’ Liam Cormier

What an awesome year it was for Canada’s, Cancer Bats. A new album, Searching for Zero, which absolutely slays, worldwide touring and finally we Aussies got our Cancer Bats action as they headed down under in September/October for some headlining shows. Vocalist and all round nice guy, Liam Cormier joined Wall of Sound to run down his ‘best of the best’ action in the world of music, as 2015’s ‘Year in Review’ continues!

BEST GIG YOU’VE SEEN 2015?
I got to see FUZZ play in Toronto and it fucking blew my mind! Sounded amazing. Everyone was going crazy and the band were all wearing corpse paint. Best gig of the year for suuuuuuure!

BEST SHOW YOUR BAND HAS PLAYED THIS YEAR?
I’m not just saying this, but our Australian headline tour was such a blast! We’ve trying to book a headline run in AUS for the last 5 years and were so pumped it finally worked out and all the shows were such a blast! On top of all that we got to tour and hang out with the amazing people in High Tension who are just the nicest and greatest people. Definitely such an amazing time!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TOO IN 2016?
Next year we have an awesome headline in the UK and Europe and then we’ve got a bunch of time off and I’m really looking forward to riding my motorcycle as much as possible and having the raddest summer ever!
