Wall of Sound presents “2015 YEAR IN REVIEW” – by CLOWN’s Jake Laderman

Rolling into another day of Wall of Sound’s 2015 Year in Review and it’s none other than the busiest band in Australia for 2015, Melbourne punks, Clowns. These guys somehow delivered three national tours and two U.S tours between releasing their sophomore album, Bad Blood, two music video’s and supporting a bunch of national and international bands. Kicking off the New Year in Shenzhen, China the guys played MIDI Festival before the release of the album and the first of three national tours. From there, Clowns headed back into the United States for a bunch of shows before returning to play Cherry Rock and then venturing out again nationally on their second full tour across Australia.

These guys do not fuck around! A small mid year break with a few local shows re-engerised the band before embarking on another United States run, this time in support of the band, Get Dead. The September shows also took in a spot on the coveted Chicago Riot Fest! From there, the band returned for their third national tour, aptly entitled ‘Never Enough’. Recently the band completed a run of shows in support of Rise Against playing in arenas including Margaret Court Arena and Hordern Pavillion. The band are currently on the road supporting Frenzal Rhomb.

Clowns‘ album Bad Blood was just named ‘Album of the Year’ by Triple J’s ‘Short.Fast.Loud, they have also, just today, announced they’ll be tour support for The Sword next year on their Australian tour.
