Wall of Sound presents “2015 YEAR IN REVIEW” – by A BREACH OF SILENCE’s Blair Layt
Continuing our WALL OF SOUND 2015 YEAR IN REVIEW, Blair Layt of Brisbane’s powercore metal band, A Breach of Silence was kind enough to share his thoughts on the best albums, songs and video of 2015 and delve into 2016’s plans.
With the release of The Darkest Road album in October 2014, A Breach of Silence hit this year with momentum beginning 2015 with a spot on ‘Staya Day Fest’ in support of Buried In Verona. In February and March the band completed their australian tour in support of their sophomore album including a few shows with Melbourne band, Feed Her to the Sharks. In April the band slotted onto the ‘Metal Heart Festival’ in Brisbane and later the ‘Dead Winter Festival. Inbetween all this the band released another music video from the album, the track ‘Vultures’. Further local shows including slots supporting bands such as Lord and A Skylit Drive ensued.
After some relentless touring in the United States in 2014, it looks as though the band are set to return overseas in the new year. In the meantime, check out bass player, Blair Layt‘s thoughts on music for 2015……
