Step inside, walk this way….Def Leppard here next month!

Def Leppard, one of the world’s dominating powerhouses of rock, hit Australian ground shortly and Wall Of Sound will be there to cover the show with the band kicking off in Sydney on November 17. Don’t miss your opportunity to witness one of rock’s finest!

With over 100 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards (over 10 million albums sales in the USA for two separate albums) to their name, Def Leppard are one of the best loved bands in rock music. Since 1992, the band has consisted of Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals) and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals) and having released a new single, ‘Let’s Go’ and a brand new self titled album to be dropped October 30th, their first studio album since 2008’s Songs From the Sparkle Lounge, this tour is set to unleash the ‘Animal’ in all of us! (pun intended!)

Over the course of their stellar career, Def Leppard have sold out stadiums and arenas across the globe. Their trademark sound and groundbreaking albums, such as Pyromania and Hysteria, have earned them massive hits – with songs such as ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Hysteria’, ‘Let’s Get Rocked’, ‘Animal’, ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘When Love & Hate Collide’ and ‘Love Bites’ dominating the airwaves globally. These powerful melodic rock anthems, along with their spectacular live shows are what makes Def Leppard one of the most impressive rock bands out there.

Def Leppard are performing on just three dates across Australia culminating in a return to Western Australia. When the band last played Perth in 2011, they made sure their show coincided with Telethon (a fundraising event in WA to support medical and social welfare of children and young people, and to fund research into children’s diseases) after hearing about the charity event from family friends living there. The band allowed 2 songs to be broadcast live to air from Perth’s NIB Stadium. After the show, Def Leppard headed straight to the Telethon phone room to whip up some donation fever. The support didn’t end there, as the band joined the live telecast Sunday evening to play live acoustically, and help set a new Telethon donation record.

Def Leppard will be supported by special guests Live. The USA quartet first achieved worldwide success with their 1994 album, Throwing Copper, which spawned the huge hits ‘Lightening Crashes’, ‘I Alone’ and ‘All Over You’ and has now sold over 10 million copies worldwide. This is the first time Australian audiences will be introduced to Live’s new front man, Chris Shinn, who joined the band in 2012.

Def Leppard will return to Perth to perform in one of the most intimate shows of their career at the fantastic Red Hill Auditorium on Saturday 21st November. Baby Animals will also join Def Leppard and Live at the Perth and Sydney shows!
