Megadeth‘s long awaited new album, number fifteen in the band’s repetoire, is due to be released by the end of the year. No album title has been released, as yet, nor any official release date.

Surprisingly, a recent candid Dave Mustaine has been answering questions by fans via his twitter account @DaveMustaine and this very interesting snippet appeared today in regards to the new album and his long time colleague, David Ellefson;

Whilst it should come as no surprise, the lack of Ellefson input into Megadeth lyrics or music these days, perhaps Mustaine may of considered some Ellefson input considering last album, Super Collider and it’s dwindling support from long time fans.

However, rumours regarding the new album and it’s content has been nothing but positive, Ellefson himself in recent days labelling the new album ‘incredibly good’. Of course those who have witnessed a Megadeth show before, will know of it’s intesity, so we’ll forget Super Collider for now and look forward to a killer show down under!
