Will GNR fans be taken back to Paradise City one more time?

The rumour regarding a Guns N’ Roses original line-up reunion is fast growing legs it seems. The UK’s ‘Mirror‘ newspaper is reporting the band is in talks for a reunion world tour in 2016.

Ever since news of Slash and Axl Rose resolving their long standing differences, the rumours have circulated on whether the giants of hard rock of the late ’80s and ’90s could actually appear together one more time on stage. Slash last appeared for Guns ‘N Roses almost 20 years ago (1996), leaving on a sour note after long running battles on and off the stage with the often manic, frontman, Axl Rose. Slash said this on his departure, “Axl and I have not been capable of seeing eye to eye on Guns N’ Roses for some time. We tried to collaborate, but at this point, I’m no longer in the band.”

If a reunion was to occur we truly hope it will be for all the right reasons and not for the gigantic money being offered by some promoters. Is it a big pension day pay off for Slash and Axl, or has time really mended old wounds? Only time will tell. There has been no official word from either camp or whether Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler or Duff McKagan would be keen to be involved, though recent comments suggest the 1987 version of the band would be up for the challenge should Slash and Axl, finally, get their shit together.

Stay tuned….this one is evolving every week.

Cheers
