Welcome to Soundwave 2016: Devil You Know
As the drip feed continues we’ve just discovered the next band announced for Soundwave 2016 is non other than LA supergroup Devil You Know who are no strangers to the event already having performed on the festival back in 2014. The band made up of former Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones, Australian metal drummer John Sankey (Fear Factory), Francesco Artusato (All Shall Perish) on guitar and bassist/backing vocalist Ryan Wombacher (Bleeding Through) will be out promoting their new album “They Bleed Red“, which is out on November 6th via Nuclear Blast Records.
The new album has been described as:
“A breakneck paced trip through DEVIL YOU KNOW’s broken psyche, struggles with anxiety, and ultimate triumph against adversity, all laid upon a foundation of high-level artistic achievement and vitriolic full throttle heavy metal fury!”
And following Howard‘s open battle with depression and attempted suicide, you know he’ll be expressing a lot of anger and emotions on this record and a way to show others going through the same tough time that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
