Davey B the BrownSound returns to Sum 41

Possibly one of the biggest news stories to come out of the Alternative Press Music Awards is that Dave Baksh (aka Davey B the Brownsound) is back in Sum 41. The former guitarist left the band back in 2006 to focus on his heavier side project Brown Brigade. Davey B joined his former band mates on stage at the Awards and revealed to fans via his Instagram account that he is in fact back which is fantastic news for those who have been campaigning for his return. The last time he featured on a Sum 41 album was with 2004's "Chuck".

The band hasn't had the best luck in recent years following former drummer Stevo32's departure back in 2013 and frontman Derek Whibley's hospitalization and very open battle with alcoholism (not to mention his Ex-Wife Avril Lavigne now being married to the Nickelback Paddle Pop Lion himself Chad Kroeger).

The guys recently launched a Pledge Pre-sale for their new album where if you pre-order/donate you can pick yourself up some great incentives and album updates throughout the process of what is being called their "Best Music Yet".

Until next time, rock the fuck out
