UK Underground Special – Look and you will find….
Wall of Sound might be based in Australia, but we’re not as one eyed as it would seem. We’ve been scoping out music scenes across the globe and we’re happy to bring you the first of a few ‘Underground’ specials. This week we feature the UK! Of course, the ‘underground’ term we’re using quite loosely as some of these bands are lucky enough to have been signed, but we’re in Australia, a million miles away, so to 99.9% of us, they are still yet to be discovered.
Yes, the underground scene is becoming bigger and bigger as it becomes more and more diffilcult for bands to be signed by maor labels or independent ones for that matter. The use of soundcloud, bandcamp, YouTube to push a band into the public eye is massive these days. We’ve tracked down seven UK bands that we think you should check out, and it’s a good mix of genre. If you like them, support the band and purchase one of their very cheap products…hell, some are even free!
