AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd On Attempt To Procure Murder Charges

New Zealand police have charged AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd with attempting to organise a murder and threatening to kill.

The 60 year old's Tauranga home, where he's lived for some years, was raided by police this morning, where they also allegedly found crystal meth and cannabis.

Rudd will front a Kiwi court this afternoon, where more details could emerge.

He has a colourful history; back in 2010 a New Zealand court convicted him of possessing cannabis on his boat, but was let off, successfully arguing it could affect AC/DC's upcoming tour.

Rudd, along with fellow band mates Angus and Malcolm Young, were inducted in to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
